About the Role:
Jay's Chevrolet in Wauseon, OH is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Office Manager to keep our dealership running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a key leadership role where you'll be at the heart of our operations, supporting a high-energy automotive team. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily dealership office operations, including accounting, billing, and financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Reconcile dealership accounts and assist with month-end and year-end closings
- Supervise and support administrative and clerical staff
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Process payroll and maintain employee records in coordination with HR functions
- Coordinate with department managers to streamline office workflows and communication
- Manage title and tag processing, deal funding, and DMV documentation
Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive dealership office management or dealership accounting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in dealership management software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of automotive accounting principles and financial controls
- Experience with title processing, deal funding, and DMV paperwork
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with sales, service, and finance teams
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
